The 2nd BM Energy Cup Golf Tournament was recently held at the Bhatiary Golf and Country Club in Chattogram. Sponsored by BM Energy, the daylong event was participated by around 200 golfers including 24 females and 20 junior golfers. The club’s president Major General Saiful Abedin witnessed the event and distributed prizes among the winners.
Bangladesh Military Academy’s Commandant Major General SM Kamrul Hasan, Air Officer Commanding Air Vice Marshal Zahidur Rahman, BM Container Depot Ltd’s director Brigadier General Ziaul Haider and BM Energy Bangladesh Ltd’s General Manager Major Mokaddes Hossain were present among other dignitaries.
Khandaker Mohiuddin scooped the top award while Mrs Kim emerged as the ladies’ winner. Shamsul Huda Chowdhury won the top senior award while Mahbir Shanim Adiyan became champion in junior category. There were other awards in quite a few other categories too.
