The two-day Quasem Cup Golf Tournament- 2018 was held at the Rangpur Golf Club (RGC) in Rangpur Cantonment recently.
Over 100 contestants of different golf clubs participated in male, female, junior and sub-junior groups of the tournament, said a press release.
The Quasem Group of Industries sponsored the tournament.
In male group, Brigadier General Amin Akbar secured the first position while Major General Md Masud Razzaque won the best gross award. Samid Quasem became the runner-up while Brigadier General Mahbub Sarwar won the second best gross award.
In female group, Mrs Shilpi became the winner while Mrs Nasrine Haque Boby was awarded for the best gross score. Fatema secured the first position while Midhula became the runner-up in junior group.
President of RGC Major General Md Masud Razzaque attended the concluding ceremony and distributed prizes among the winners. Directors and high officials of the Quasem Group of Industries, RGC officials, participating golfers and invited guests were present, among others.
