Dhaka, April 19, 2025 — A celebration of camaraderie, culture, and competition unfolded at the scenic Tiger Golf Club as it hosted the 4th Annual Tiger Golf Club vs Shoo-Koo-Kai Dhaka Friendship Golf Tournament. The event brought together nearly 40 golfers and distinguished guests for a memorable day on the greens, culminating in a lively Prize Giving Ceremony and Brunch.
Over the years, this annual tournament has become a symbol of unity and friendship between the Bangladeshi and Japanese communities. This year’s edition was no exception, blending competitive spirit with heartfelt cultural exchange.
The occasion was graced by the presence of H.E. Saida Shinichi, Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh; H.E. Haris Bin Othman, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Bangladesh; Mr. Atsushi Hirakuri, President of KOICA Bangladesh; and Brigadier General (Retd.) Md Manzur Qader, Vice President of Tiger Golf Club. Their participation added diplomatic and cultural significance to the tournament, underscoring golf’s role as a bridge for international goodwill.
