Tiger Golf Club-TGC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with InterContinental Dhakato provide exclusive benefits for the club members.The MoU ceremony was held at InterContinental recently, Heru Hartanto Subolo, Ambassador of Indonesia and President of TGC, and AshwaniNayar, GM of the hotel signed the agreement.
Md. Mokammel Hossain, chairman, Bangladesh Services Limited-BSL and Secretary of Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Mohammad Atiqur Rahaman, MD of BSL spoke at the ceremony. Haji Haris Bin Othman, Ambasaador of Brunei, RinchenKuentsyl, Ambassador of Bhutan, BrigGenMd. ManzurQader (Retd) VP, Syed Mastafizur Rahman, Treasurer, Yasmin Rahman, Lady Captain and Hafizur Rahman Khan, member of TGC was presence there along with other guests and members of both organizations.
Under the agreement, TGC members can enjoy benefits such as Buy 1 Get 1 on local staycation packages, Buy 1 Get 1 on Buffet Lunch and Dinner at Elements restaurant and 25 percent discount at the wellness facilities. TGC members will also be able to enjoy a full waiver on venue rental for hosting 200+ pax events and a special room rate for its guests at InterContinental Dhaka when hosting golf events.
Tiger Golf Club started its journey in 2009/10. The members of this club include foreign expats, diplomats, as well as local enthusiasts. DDGA and TGC conduct tournaments regularly. They also arrange farewell tournaments for those departing the country. On average DDGA and TGC organize at least 2/3 three tournaments each quarter. They have a program of organising tournaments in different countries and through this initiative diplomats and expats are able to take home good memories of Bangladesh and Bangladesh golf.
