The three-day 2nd Radiant Invitational 2026 concluded on a high note at Kurmitola Golf Club (KGC), Dhaka, bringing together leading amateur and professional golfers from across the country. The prestigious tournament showcased exceptional talent, competitive spirit, and sportsmanship, culminating in an elegant prize distribution ceremony attended by distinguished guests from the Bangladesh Army and the corporate sector.
Held from 02 to 04 June 2026, the 2nd Radiant Invitational 2026 featured intense competition across both amateur and professional categories, attracting some of Bangladesh’s finest golfers.
In the Professional Category, Jamal Hossain claimed the championship title with an aggregate score of 211, finishing 5 shots below par. His remarkable performance over three rounds earned him the coveted trophy and championship honors.
Closely behind him was Jakiruzzaman, who finished as the Runner-Up with a score of 212, concluding the tournament 4 shots below par in a highly competitive professional field.
In the Amateur Category, Abdul Kader emerged as the Champion after an outstanding performance, finishing the tournament 8 shots better than par. His consistency and composure throughout the event earned him the top position among the amateur field.
The Runner-Up position in the Amateur Category was secured by Md. Sharif Hossain, who also demonstrated impressive golfing skills throughout the three-day competition.
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Lt Gen Mohammad Shaheenul Haque, OSP, BSP, ndc, hdmc, psc, QMG, Bangladesh Army and Vice President, Kurmitola Golf Club, who attended as the Chief Guest.
Musawath Shams Zahedee, Member, Board of Directors, Radiant Pharmaceuticals Limited, attended the ceremony as the Special Guest, presenting prizes and congratulating the winners for their outstanding achievements.
Among others present at the ceremony were Lieutenant General Sinha Ibn Jamali (Retd.), Managing Director of Radiant Pharmaceuticals Limited; the CEO of Kurmitola Golf Club; the General Manager of Bangladesh Golf Federation; Major General Md. Masud Razzak (Retd.), President of the Bangladesh Professional Golfers’ Association (BPGA); Mostafizur Rahman, Secretary General of BPGA; along with senior officials, golfers, sponsors, and distinguished guests from the golfing community.Â
The tournament once again highlighted the growing standard of golf in Bangladesh while providing a platform for amateur and professional golfers to compete, connect, and celebrate the spirit of the game.
