The vision behind the initiative belongs to Brigadier General Abul Fazal Md. Sanaullah (Retd.), former Secretary General of the Bangladesh Golf Federation. His long-standing contribution to golf development inspired the creation of a platform where experienced golfers could continue enjoying the game while preserving the heritage and camaraderie that have shaped Bangladesh’s golfing culture.
The inaugural event also marked the beginning of an ambitious annual calendar, with five dedicated Old Buddies tournaments planned throughout the year to further engage the country’s veteran golfing community.
