Md Farhad Takes the Lead After Round 2 of Radiant Invitational
Md Farhad surged to the top of the leaderboard after an impressive second-round performance at the Radiant Invitational 2025, currently being held from February 24 to 27. The tournament, hosted by the Bangladesh Professional Golfers’ Association (BPGA), saw a competitive field battling it out on the course.
Farhad, who posted a 75 in the first round, made a remarkable comeback with a 67 in Round 2, bringing his total to 142 (-2). His brilliant round helped him take a one-stroke lead over Md Rasel, who shot 71-72 (143, -1).
Close behind the leader are two players tied for third place: Mohammad Siddikur Rahman and Md Nooruzzaman, both at 144 (Even Par) after scoring 75-69 and 74-70, respectively. Their consistent performances put them in a strong position heading into the final rounds.
Md Nazim Hosain and Md Razu are tied at 146 (+2), while Md Dulal Hossaion had an impressive second round with a 70, pushing him into seventh place at 147 (+3).
Md Muaj, who started strong with a 71 in Round 1, struggled in Round 2 with a 77, slipping to 148 (+4). Mohammed Kapil (72-76) and Mohammad Sayum (75-73) also finished with a total of 148 (+4). Md Samsul Alam Babu, who was one of the early leaders, had a rough day with a 78 in Round 2, dropping to 149 (+5).
At the lower end of the leaderboard, Dr. Afshan Anis faced a challenging round, posting a 94, bringing her two-round total to 180 (+36). Mohammad Un-Am Ar Rafi (172, +28) and Md Abdur Rahman (174, +30) also had tough rounds but remain in contention to improve in the upcoming rounds. Read More
