DP World Tour Unveils Exciting 2025 Global Schedule

The DP World Tour, the premier men’s professional golf tour under the European Tour group, has announced its 2025 global schedule, featuring 42 tournaments across 26 countries. The season will unfold in three phases: the Global Swings from November 2024 to August 2025, the Back 9 from August to October 2025, and the DP World Tour Play-Offs in November 2025, featuring two consecutive Rolex Series events.

As the pinnacle of the DP World Tour, the 2025 season will include five Rolex Series events and the four Major Championships, all of which contribute to the Race to Dubai Rankings, the season-long competition concluding with the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.

Since 2022, DP World, a global leader in smart supply chain and logistics solutions, has served as the title partner of the Tour. This partnership coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Tour, which was established in 1972, solidifying its place as one of the most prestigious circuits in professional golf.

The European Tour group, the governing body of the DP World Tour, also oversees the HotelPlanner Tour, the Legends Tour, and the G4D Tour. Additionally, it co-manages the iconic Ryder Cup alongside the PGA of America. As part of its commitment to ‘Driving Golf Further,’ the European Tour group embraces three core values: innovation, inclusivity, and global reach. The Tour pioneers new tournament formats, integrates cutting-edge technology, and enhances fan engagement while promoting diversity by supporting women’s golf, disability golf, and raising awareness of the sport’s physical and mental health benefits.

Since its inception, players from 38 different countries have claimed victories on the Tour, which reaches over 490 million homes in more than 150 countries, generating 2,200+ global broadcast hours per event. The DP World Tour is backed by major brands, with DP World, Rolex, BMW, Buffalo Trace Distillery, Emirates, and Fortinet serving as Official Partners.

Strengthening its position as a truly international platform, the European Tour group has Strategic Alliances with the PGA TOUR, Sunshine Tour, and Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia. It has also built partnerships with leading golf organizations, including the China Golf Association (CGA), Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO), Korea Professional Golfers’ Association (KPGA), and the TATA Steel Professional Golf Tour of India, providing global pathways for emerging players to compete on the DP World Tour.

Beyond the competition, the European Tour group is dedicated to making a positive impact through its ‘Golf for Good’ initiative. This program focuses on ensuring environmentally and socially sustainable practices while benefiting the courses, countries, and communities the Tour visits.

With an expansive schedule, top-tier tournaments, and a mission to grow the game on a global scale, the DP World Tour’s 2025 season promises to be an exciting year of world-class competition, innovation, and inclusivity.
