49th RSGC Ladies’ Amateur Open Championship Gets Underway

The 49th RSGC Ladies’ Amateur Open Championship officially got underway on Tuesday, marking the start of one of the Asia-Pacific region’s most prestigious amateur golf tournaments.

Hosted by the Royal Selangor Golf Club (RSGC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the championship is being held from 4 to 6 August 2026, bringing together leading amateur golfers from across the Asia-Pacific for three days of competitive golf.

The opening round teed off with players aiming to make a strong start in pursuit of the coveted title. The tournament is expected to showcase a high standard of golf while providing a platform for emerging talents to compete against some of the region’s finest amateur players.

With two more rounds remaining, the championship promises exciting competition, memorable performances and an opportunity for golfers to demonstrate their skills on one of the region’s renowned courses.

The 49th edition of the RSGC Ladies’ Amateur Open Championship continues through 6 August, with the champion set to be crowned following the final round.
