2nd Federation Cup Golf Championship Tournament 2017

The two-day Federation Cup Golf Championship 2017 concluded at Kumitola Golf Club on September 23-24, 2017 under the supervision of Bangladesh Golf Federation.

Army Golf Club won the team title and Kurmitola Golf Club grabbed the Runner-up. Zahirul Islam of Savar Golf Club emerged individual champion in the men’s group while Lt Col Humayan Rashid of Moinamoti Golf and Country Club won the runner-up title. Fatema Motiur of Army Golf Club emerged individual champion in the women’s group while Mrs J S Yoon of Kurmitola Golf Club won the runner-up title.

In the junior group, Master Sadman Rahman of Army Golf Club became individual champion and Master Tousif of Jessore Golf and Country Club won the runner-up title.

Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Golf Federation (BGF) and Vice president of Kurmitola Golf club  Major General AKM Abdullah Hel Baki distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest of the closing ceremony.

Besides the other participants, the secretary general of Bangladesh Golf Federation Brig. General Kazi Shamsul Islam, tournament director Brig. Gen. Abidur Reza Khan (Retd), federation joint secretary and CEO of KGC Brig Gen Mohd Obaidul Haque (Retd), Co-ordinator of Bangladesh Golf Federation Lt. Co. Md. Abdul Bari (Retd) and other civil and military officials with their spouses attended the function.
