The 24th Square Golf Tournament 2026 concluded at Kurmitola Golf Course in Dhaka Cantonment, bringing together hundreds of golfers from across the country for one of the club’s most prominent annual competitions.
The three-day tournament attracted 755 golfers, including local and foreign members of Kurmitola Golf Club as well as participants representing various golf clubs nationwide. Players competed across multiple categories, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for amateur golf in Bangladesh.
The Chief of Naval Staff of the Bangladesh Navy, Admiral M Nazmul Hasan, attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners during the prize-giving program held Friday evening at Kurmitola Golf Club.
Among the distinguished guests present were Lieutenant General Mohammad Shaheenul Haque, Commandant of the National Defence College and Vice President of Kurmitola Golf Club, along with Mizanur Rahman, Executive Director of Square Pharmaceuticals PLC. Senior officials from Kurmitola Golf Club and Square Group, along with their family members, were also present at the ceremony.
In the main competition, Ganzorig TuVshintugs emerged as the overall champion, while Roice Uddin Siddique finished as the runner-up.
In the Ladies’ category, Mrs Lee-Hoa Kyung claimed the title.
The successful staging of the tournament once again highlighted the strong partnership between Square Group and Kurmitola Golf Club, reinforcing their continued commitment to promoting the development of golf in Bangladesh.
