17th Square Golf Tournament 2018 concluded at Kurmitola Golf Club in Dhaka on February 24.
Muntasir Ahmed won the main title, Taosif lqbal Siddiqui grabbed the runner-up trophy while Fatema Motiur won the ladies’ event title.
Major General S M Shafiuddin Ahmed, Senior Directing Staff (Army) of National Defense College gave away prizes to the winners as chief guest at the concluding ceremony.
Vice president of Kurmitola Golf Club Major General A K M Abdullahil Baquee, club captain Brigadier General Kazi Shamsul Islam, chairman of tournament committee Brig. Gen. Abidur Reza Khan (Retd), Club CEO Brigadier General Mohd Obaidul Haque (Retd), general manager of KGC Golf Operation Lieutenant Colonel Md. Abdul Bari (Retd), Chief Operating and Scientific Officer, Square Pharmaceuticals Limited Dr. Shamim Ahmed, were also present in the prize giving ceremony. A large numbers of participants, other members of the Square Group and high civil and military officials with their spouses attended the function.
