President of Tiger Golf Club Dhaka and the ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Indonesia in Bangladesh, Mr. Heru Hartanto Subolo , hosted a reception on Saturday 17, February,2024 to announce their seventh international Friendship Golf Tournament and B2B meeting with Chinese and Bangladeshi businessmen. The entire event will be held at the Chengdu at china from February 25 to 29, 2024.
Sponsored by China Embassy in Bangladesh and supported by the Kurmitola Golf Club , the event would fly out about 60 members of the Tiger Golf Club including diplomats, expats, government high-officials and business community leaders, who will join local Thai players to celebrate the spirit of golf and friendship between the two countries.
Tiger Golf Club started its journey in 2009. The members of this club include foreign expats, diplomats, as well as local enthusiasts. DDGA and TGC conduct tournaments regularly. They also arrange farewell tournaments for those departing the country. DDGA and TGC organize at least 2/3 three tournaments each quarter. They have a program of organising tournaments in different countries and through this initiative diplomats and expats are able to take home good memories of Bangladesh and Bangladesh golf.
