Seven Bangladeshi Pros Make the Cut at INR 2 Crore TATA Open 2025

The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) has brought the curtain down on its 2025 season with the TATA Open, being staged in Jamshedpur from December 25 to 28. The four-day championship is jointly hosted at the historic Beldih and Golmuri Golf Courses, carrying a lucrative prize purse of INR 2 Crore.

A strong field of 126 professionals is competing in the stroke-play event, with four rounds of 18 holes each. As per tournament regulations, the top 50 players and ties advanced to the final two rounds after the halfway cut.

Bangladesh continues to trend upward on the PGTI circuit, as seven BPGA professionals successfully cut a contingent of nine.

Leading the Bangladeshi charge is Siddikur Rahman, who carded an impressive five-under-par (-5) to secure a place in T8. Jamal Hossain and Muaj Hossain remain firmly in contention at two-under-par (-2), sharing T20.

Akbar Hossain sits at level par (0) in T30, while Badol Hossain, Shomrat Hossain, and Jakir Hossain are tied at one-over-par (+1) in T35, keeping Bangladesh well represented across the leaderboard.

It was a close call for Raju Ahmed, who missed the cut by a single stroke, while Solaiman Hossain finished the week at six-over-par (+6).

With two rounds left in the season finale, the Bangladeshi professionals are well-positioned to close out the year on a high. Let’s maintain a big finish momentum.
