Robinswood Golf Club at Reignwood Park, Thailand, has been confirmed as the host venue for the 2026 Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) Club and Turf Management Conference, scheduled for May 26.
The one-day conference will feature a line-up of leading international speakers. It will focus on key operational and turf-management issues shaping the golf industry across Thailand and Southeast Asia.
AGIF President Chris Gray said the Federation was delighted to return to Bangkok following the strong response to this year’s event.
“After the success of the 2025 Thailand Conference, we are pleased to confirm both the date and venue for 2026. Robinswood is one of the region’s standout golf destinations and will provide the ideal setting to bring together general managers, course superintendents and industry professionals from across Southeast Asia,” he said.
Rishi Narain, Head of Events, Sponsorship and Membership at AGIF, added that the Federation remains focused on delivering high-quality educational and networking platforms for the region.
“We recorded an excellent turnout at this year’s conference at Flora Ville Golf & Country Club and are confident of surpassing that in 2026. Our speaker programme is in the final stages and further announcements will follow shortly,” he said.
This year’s Thailand Conference attracted participation from leading clubs including Amata Spring, Blue Canyon, Laguna Golf Phuket, Navatanee, Nikanti, Pattana, Riverdale, Royal Bangkok Sports Club, Siam Country Club, Thai Country Club, Thana City and Toscana Valley, along with delegates from Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia and Singapore.
Positioned as one of Southeast Asia’s most exclusive new golf destinations, Robinswood Golf Club forms the centrepiece of Reignwood Group’s 2,000-Rai Reignwood Park development, which integrates private estates, lifestyle retail, communal gardens, wellness facilities, sports amenities and a fully accredited international school. The project draws on Reignwood’s global portfolio, including Wentworth Club in England and Reignwood Pine Valley in Beijing.
In addition, AGIF has confirmed that its 2026 Annual International Summit, including the Gala Awards Night and Asian Business Leaders Invitational, will be held at the Sime Darby Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur from October 27–29, aligned once again with the LPGA Tour’s Maybank Championship at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club. Registration is set to open soon.
AGIF also plans to stage two further one-day Club and Turf Management Conferences in 2026, provisionally in Singapore or Johor in June and Hanoi in August. The Federation has also been appointed Educational Partner for the inaugural MENA Turf Show, scheduled to take place at the Park Hyatt Dubai.
