Hovland, Straka & Højgaard Twins Confirmed for BMW PGA Championship 2025

Viktor Hovland, Sepp Straka, and twin brothers Nicolai and Rasmus Højgaard have been confirmed for the BMW PGA Championship 2025, which will take place at Wentworth Club from September 9–14. The four players, who collectively have 21 wins on the DP World Tour and PGA TOUR, add further star power to the Rolex Series event.

They will join an already world-class field featuring Rory McIlroy, defending champion Billy Horschel, Ludvig Åberg, Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry, Robert MacIntyre, Justin Rose, and former World No.1 Adam Scott. Additional player announcements are expected soon.

Hovland, making his fifth BMW PGA appearance, returns to Wentworth after missing last year due to a wrist injury. He placed fifth in both 2022 and 2023 and is eager to build on those results. Straka heads to the event following two PGA TOUR wins this season and will compete at Wentworth for the third time.

Nicolai and Rasmus Højgaard, who both finished inside the Top 20 at The 153rd Open, continue to impress on both tours. Nicolai, a 2023 Ryder Cup debutant and DP World Tour Championship winner, will appear for the fifth time, while Rasmus, who claimed his fifth DP World Tour title at the 2024 Amgen Irish Open, will make his sixth start at the Championship.

The BMW PGA Championship will once again combine elite golf with a festival atmosphere. More than 100,000 fans are expected over the week, with live entertainment including performances from Razorlight on Saturday and Ella Henderson on Sunday. The Celebrity Pro-Am on September 10 will feature stars such as Andy Murray, Gareth Bale, Ben Stokes, and Lando Norris.

General Admission tickets for Saturday and Sunday are sold out, while remaining tickets for other days are selling quickly. Premium Experience options, including the limited Green on 18 package, are also in high demand. Transport options include on-site parking for BMW owners, free shuttles from Virginia Water Railway Station, and Park & Ride services from Sunningdale and Ascot.
