The Executive Committee Election–2025 of the Bangladesh Golf Federation (BGF) was held at Kurmitola Golf Club, Dhaka Cantonment, under the overall supervision of an election commissioner appointed by the National Sports Council.
A total of 16 Executive Committee members and five office bearers were elected to form the new leadership panel of the federation.
The Vice Presidents include Hafizur Rahman Khan and Major General Masud Razzaq (Retd.). Brig. General Sazzad Hossain was elected Joint Secretary and Brig. General Mamun-Ur-Rashid Chowdhury as Treasurer.
A direct election was held for the post of Vice President (OP). The contest was closely fought between Maj. General Masud Razzaq (Retd.) and Major General Iftekar (Retd.), with both candidates securing 23 votes each. As per the election rules of the National Sports Council, a lottery was conducted to resolve the tie, resulting in Major General Masud Razzaq (Retd.) being declared elected as Vice President (OP).
The newly elected committee is expected to guide Bangladesh golf through its next phase of development, focusing on governance, grassroots expansion, and competitive excellence at national and international levels.
