Passionate Golfers’ Club (PGC), a local non-profit golfing community, distributed some necessary items among caddies and ball boys of several golf clubs as Eid gifts ahead of the holy day.
“Over the years, the caddies and ball boys have worked tirelessly during our golfing rounds. To share the spirit of Ramadan and the joys of Eid with them, we donated these items to the Army Golf Club, Savar Golf Club, Ghatail Golf Club, and BOF Golf Club for the comfort of the family members of caddies and ball boys,” said Bashir Ahmed, president of PGC.
“It’s important to give back to the community and give back to any society. It’s not about getting any sort of accolade, it’s about actually making a difference,” he added.
Apart from the president of PGC, Brig Gen Syed Ahmed Ali, CEO of Army Golf Club, PGC members, and AGC club officials were present during the distribution of the items.
PGC started its journey in 2021. The members of this club include business leaders, corporate, military, and nonmilitary personnel as well as local golf enthusiasts.
