What’s your first impression of TheGolfHouse when it was launched back in 2015?
In 2015, it was hard to imagine anyone starting a company to publish a magazine about golf. At that time, I was serving as the Member Secretary of the Army Golf Club when the founder of TheGolfHouse approached me to share his vision for TheGolfHouse Magazine. I was truly amazed that someone so young had such an idea. His passion for golf left a lasting impression on me, and I now admire how far he has come, driven by his dedication to the sport.

I think it’s all about their genuine commitment to creating an international magazine, along with their passion for golf, that has truly made an impact. They explored every facet of golf to foster the growth in Bangladesh, engaging with everyone from golf officials to the Army Golf Club and Kurmitola Golf Club. Their efforts even extended beyond the country’s borders, and now, they have successfully established golf as a recognized and beloved game throughout the nation.

The Bangladesh Army has also embraced golf, with many former players now excelling in the game. When I mention “TheGolfHouse” in the media, it’s important to note that it stands out as a unique entity dedicated exclusively to golf in Bangladesh. While other media outlets may touch on golf, none focus solely on it like TheGolfHouse does, making it a key player in promoting the sport in the country.

How do you evaluate the collaboration between TheGolfHouse and institutions like the Bangladesh Golf Federation and others?
Initially, there may have been some misunderstandings between the Bangladesh Golf Federation and TheGolfHouse. However, thanks to the dedication and sincerity of TheGolfHouse’s founder, strong lines of communication could be established with the Bangladesh Golf Federation, as well as with other golf clubs across Bangladesh. As a result, there is now a solid and positive relationship among all stakeholders involved.
