Spotlight falls on Golf’s Silent Heroes at the Caddie Ball Boy Cup Golf Tournament 2025, was an outstanding way of honouring the caddie and ball boy of Army Golf Club. In a heartfelt and symbolic initiative that underscores the unseen yet indispensable support structure of golf tournaments, a special felicitation ceremony was organized today to honor the caddies and ball boys who tirelessly serve the sport behind the scenes.

The event was hosted by Mrs. Kushum Farid, Lady Captain of AGC, who led the proceedings with poise and generosity. The occasion was further dignified by the presence of Chief Guest Mrs. Nazmun Nahar, along with Major General Khan Firoz Ahmed, President of Army Golf Club, and Lieutenant Colonel Md. Gholam Monzoor Siddique (Retd), Director of Operations and Sports, AGC, lady golfers and other respective club administrators attended the occasion to express their appreciation for the tireless commitment of these silent contributors.

The initiative was spearheaded by the Caddie/Ball Boy Welfare Committee, which has consistently advocated for improved recognition and support for the often-overlooked members of the golfing ecosystem. The ceremony, attended by 75 caddies and ball boys, included distribution of food packages and financial incentives to 15 standout performers among them.

During the award segment, Mr. Najmun Nahar expressed his appreciation and personally distributed the prizes. The top recipient, Mr. Pipash, secured the first place honor with an outstanding contribution record of 38 rounds or more. His commitment was lauded by all present.
