NotreDamians’ 2nd Golf Tournament -2026 held at Kurmitola Golf Club on 31st January.
To uphold the power of education & wisdom with ethical values, the tournament was organized with a view to strengthening the bond among all the Notordemians and encouraging them to do something meaningful to the society.
The Tournament was inaugurated at 7:30 am where Air Chief Marshal of Bangladesh Air Force Hasan Mahmood Khan was present as the chief guest.
Other ex Notordamians were also present along with the sponsors as special guests.
Around 60 golfers participated at the NotreDamians’ 2nd Golf Tournament- 2026. Among them 50 were the ex-students of NotreDame College and the others were from the sponsors and guests.
Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan became the overall Champion of the tournament with a superb performance. In the regular category, Air Vice Marshal Md Badrul Amin claimed the Winner’s title, while Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Nazrul Islam finished as Runner-up and Mr Abul Kalam Azad secured Best Gross (Regular). In the senior segment, Cdre Yahya Syed was crowned Winner, followed by Air Vice Marshal Ehsanul Gani Choudhury as Runner-up, with Mr Shahid-ul-Huq taking Best Gross (Senior). Special skill awards were claimed by Lt Col Kouser (Conventional On), Commodore Kazi Kamrul Hassan (Nearest to the Pin), Maj Pankaj (Longest Drive), and Lt Gen Matiur (Maximum Par), rounding off a tournament marked by competitive excellence and sporting tradition.
City Bank was the main sponsor of the tournament where urmi group, accfintax, INTERCONTINENTAL Dhaka, Long BEACH Hotel Cox’s Bazar, IDLC Finance PLC, AMIN MOHAMMAD agro, indigo, Art DNA, Chaldal and TheGolfHouse were as the co-sponsors of the tournament.
All the participants of the tournament including sponsors wish that such tournament should be arranged more to spread the light of wisdom among the society.
