Junior golfer Fawjiya Islam Moon continued her steady rise on the national golf circuit by winning the Shah Cement–AKS Winter Cup Golf Tournament 2026 at Rangpur Golf and Country Club, reaffirming her status as one of Bangladesh’s most promising young talents.

Born on 19 October 2012, Fawjiya began her golfing journey at Rangpur Golf and Country Club, where her discipline and consistency quickly set her apart. She has already secured five Junior Category titles, finished runner-up twice in the same division, and claimed one Conventional Category victory, reflecting a mature competitive edge beyond her years.

Academically, Fawjiya passed Class VIII from The Millennium Stars School & College, Rangpur Cantonment, and is set to begin Class IX this year, balancing education with golf in a structured manner.

Her progress has translated onto bigger stages.
