European Stars Headline Power-Packed Field for 2025 DP World Tour Championship

European Ryder Cup heroes Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry, and Ludvig Åberg are among the latest elite names confirmed for the DP World Tour Championship, set for November 13–16 at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai.

They join fellow Dubai residents Laurie Canter and Richard Mansell, alongside an already stellar lineup featuring Rory McIlroy, Tyrrell Hatton, Matt Fitzpatrick, Rasmus Højgaard, Robert MacIntyre, Justin Rose, and 2023 champion Nicolai Højgaard, all members of Europe’s triumphant 2025 Ryder Cup squad that ended a 13-year wait for an away victory.

Fleetwood, who resides in Dubai and calls the Earth Course his home, arrives in red-hot form after claiming both his maiden PGA TOUR title and the FedExCup, before starring at Bethpage Black with four match wins in Europe’s historic Ryder Cup triumph. His season continued in style with an eighth DP World Tour victory at the DP World India Championship.

“The Earth Course has been my home course for three years, so it’s always special to play the DP World Tour Championship somewhere that feels familiar,” Fleetwood said. “Finishing the season in front of family and friends gives me that extra bit of motivation.”

Lowry returns to Dubai after clinching the decisive half-point that secured Europe’s 2025 Ryder Cup title. The Irishman, third at last year’s DP World Tour Championship, seeks his seventh career victory and his second UAE title, following his 2019 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship triumph and Open Championship win at Royal Portrush.

Åberg, Sweden’s rising superstar, continues his meteoric ascent after top finishes at the Masters and consecutive Ryder Cup appearances. The 25-year-old makes his DP World Tour Championship debut this year.

“I’ve heard great things about the Earth Course, and I’m really looking forward to ending my season in Dubai,” Åberg said.

Canter and Mansell, both Dubai-based, also feature after impressive seasons. Canter won the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship and nearly added another at the Genesis Championship, while Mansell celebrated his maiden DP World Tour win at the Porsche Singapore Classic.

“Having won in Bahrain and calling Dubai home, I feel in a great place,” said Canter.
Mansell added: “It really feels like a home event for me. Jumeirah Golf Estates is always a fantastic venue.”

With record-breaking crowds in 2024, demand for 2025 tickets is high. Weekend general admission starts at AED 160, while Thursday and Friday entry remains free. Premium experiences such as Ticket+, Earth Lounge, and Championship Chalet offer exclusive views, dining, and live entertainment though Sunday hospitality is already sold out.

Fans should note limited public parking due to ongoing development within Jumeirah Golf Estates. Pre-booked parking costs AED 50 (AED 80 on-site), with proceeds directed toward sustainability initiatives across the UAE.

The DP World Tour Championship once again promises world-class golf, vibrant atmosphere, and a fitting season finale under Dubai’s winter sun.
