The BPGA Ramadan Cup 2026, organized under the patronage of the Bangladesh Professional Golfers’ Association, concluded successfully at Jolshiri Golf Club, bringing together professional and amateur golfers for three days of competitive golf.
The tournament was held from 15 to 17 February and featured a strong field of players competing across professional and amateur divisions.
Demonstrating remarkable consistency and control throughout the event, Mohammad Dulal Hossain emerged as the overall champion. The seasoned professional delivered an outstanding performance, finishing the tournament at an impressive 17-under-par, securing a convincing victory against a competitive field.
In the professional division, Bangladesh’s renowned golfer Siddikur Rahman produced a solid performance to finish as the runner-up, recording a total score of five-under-par across the tournament. His performance once again highlighted the high standard of professional golf currently being witnessed in the country.
The amateur category also delivered strong competition, with Md. Munna Mia claiming the amateur championship title after completing the tournament at eight-over-par. His victory reflected the growing strength and depth of amateur golf talent emerging across Bangladesh.
The tournament concluded with a prize-giving ceremony attended by leading figures of Bangladesh’s golfing community. The awards and trophies were presented by Md. Masud Razzak, President of the Bangladesh Professional Golfers’ Association, a retired Major General who continues to play a significant role in the development of professional golf in the country.
Also present at the ceremony were the Chief Executive Officer of Jolshiri Golf Club, Mostafizur Rahman, General Secretary of BPGA, along with other senior officials and members of the golfing community who gathered to celebrate the achievements of the players.
The BPGA Ramadan Cup has steadily become an important fixture within the national golfing calendar. The tournament provides a valuable competitive platform where seasoned professionals and emerging amateurs compete together, helping to strengthen the overall standard of the game in Bangladesh.
