The inaugural Executive Cup Golf Tournament 2025, presented by City Bank and jointly organized by The Corporate Tour and GolfHouse, concluded on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Jolshiri Golf Club with the participation of more than 116 golfers representing 90 leading companies and organizations.
The event, held for the first time, highlighted golf as a platform for leadership, discipline, and fellowship, combining competitive play with professional networking.
A closing ceremony took place at the Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre, attended by senior officials and industry leaders. Notable guests included Brig Gen Abul Fazal Sanaullah (Retd.), Election Commissioner; Mahbubur Rahman, AMD & Acting MD, City Bank; AVM Manzurul Kabir, Air Headquarters; Group Captain Zafar, Chairman, DMCB; and Musawat Zahedee, Managing Director, Radiant Pharmaceuticals. Also present were Md. Miarul Haque, Managing Director, DHL Express Bangladesh; Alamgir Morshed, Executive Director & CEO, IDCOL; and Hedayet Ullah, Managing Director, Syngenta Bangladesh Limited.
The tournament concluded with a highly competitive finish. Mr. Kowser Ahmed of The Kow Company and Mr. Musawath Shams Zahedee of Radiant Pharmaceuticals emerged as Champions with a gross score of 34. The Runner-Up position was secured by Brigadier General Halim (Retd.) of Western Group and Mr. Liang, who finished with a gross score of 35. The Second Runners-Up were Dr. Mohammad
Zahangeer Alam, professor of GAU and Mr. Mominul Karim of ACNABIN, also carding a gross of 35. The Third Runners-Up position went to Major Md Nazmul Huq Madal of Jolshiri Golf Club and Mr. Shariful Alam of Mitsui & Co. (Asia Pacific) Pte. Ltd., likewise finishing with a gross of 35 in what proved to be a tightly contested competition.
The tournament was supported by City Bank as main Sponsor, alongside Aster Pharmacy, DFSK, DMCB, Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre, Radiant Pharmaceuticals, Sports World, Oppein, Turkish Airlines, City Group, and several media partners.
