Spain’s Albert Boneta and Australia’s Danny List head into the final round of the D+D REAL Czech Challenge tied for the lead at 17-under-par, following impressive third-round performances at Royal Beroun Golf Club.
Boneta, 23, who held a one-shot lead at the start of the day, posted a three-under-par 67 despite challenging conditions. He opened with three front-nine birdies to set the pace but stumbled with a double bogey on the 12th. However, he rebounded swiftly with birdies on 13, 15, and 16, finishing with steady pars to maintain his position at the top.
“I played well, and the score doesn’t fully reflect how solid it was,” Boneta said. “The last five holes were tough with the conditions, but I stayed focused. Responding well after mistakes, especially the double on 12, gave me confidence. A win here would be huge for my progression on the HotelPlanner Tour.”
List, who also started the day one stroke behind, signed for a 66. He made early gains with two birdies on the front nine and picked up another on the drivable 10th. A bogey on 11 momentarily slowed his momentum, but the 27-year-old closed strongly with birdies down the stretch, including one at the par-five 18th.
“It was a grind out there,” said List. “The conditions were more challenging today, especially around the 12th where the pin was brutal. Big credit to my caddie for keeping everything dry when the rain hit. I’m looking forward to going all in tomorrow.”
Trailing closely at 15-under-par are David Law and Ryan Lumsden of Scotland, Baard Skogen of Norway, and Luca Cianchetti of Italy. A further shot back on 14-under sit Denmark’s Victor Sidal Svendsen, America’s Nick Carlson, Scotland’s Euan Walker, Italy’s Renato Paratore, and England’s Jack Floydd.
The final round will begin at 8:39 a.m. local time, with the final group of Boneta, List, and Law teeing off at 10:40 a.m.
