The Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA), with the support of Olympic Solidarity, has officially inaugurated a four-day “Olympic Solidarity Technical Course for Coaches in Golf” in Dhaka, running from April 1 to 4, 2026.
Being held for the first time in Bangladesh, the specialised programme is designed to strengthen the technical knowledge and coaching capacity within the country’s growing golf ecosystem.
The course is being conducted by internationally recognised coach Uroš Gregorič of Slovenia, with participation from 15 selected coaches.
The opening ceremony took place at the Bangladesh Golf Academy, where Major General Md. Masud Razzaq (Retd), Vice President of the Bangladesh Golf Federation, inaugurated the programme.
The initiative reflects a strategic push to develop structured coaching standards and elevate grassroots and competitive golf in Bangladesh through international collaboration.
The course will conclude on April 4, 2026, with a closing ceremony scheduled at 3:30 PM. Md. Jubaidur Rahman Rana is expected to attend as Chief Guest and formally close the programme.
