The Battle of Stars 2025 returns this June to Mallorca, promising another unforgettable edition of the charity pro-am golf tournament. Tennis legend Rafael Nadal is among the first big names confirmed for the event, taking place from June 11–13 at Pula Golf Resort and Son Servera Golf Club.
Now retired from tennis, Nadal—an avid golfer—will tee it up alongside four football icons: Argentine striker Gabriel Batistuta, Celtic legend Henrik Larsson, German maestro Bernd Schuster, and former AC Milan midfielder and Italy manager Roberto Donadoni.
A key fixture in Mallorca’s sporting calendar, the Battle of Stars 2025 raises funds for the fight against ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and multiple sclerosis. Though both conditions are currently incurable, ongoing research continues to improve treatment and support.
With its blend of top-level sport and a meaningful cause, the tournament has become a much-anticipated event. More athletes and entertainers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
This year’s event is supported by Banco Santander, BRK (golf apparel), Cap Vermell Grand Hotel, the Fundació Mallorca Turisme, Inmobiliaria Sa Coma, and the Mallorca tourism board.
Arnau Sala, General Manager at Pula Golf Resort, expressed his excitement:
“We are so happy to announce the first part of the field for this year’s Battle of Stars, and it’s an honour to be hosting the tournament alongside Son Servera Golf Club once again.
The generosity and enthusiasm of all the stars, as well as every amateur golfer and industry professional who attends, blows us away every year and allows us to give back for a very worthy cause. We’re very excited to welcome everyone to Pula Golf Resort again in June.”
Pula Golf, a par-72 course redesigned by Spanish golf legend José María Olazábal, has hosted multiple professional events and remains one of Mallorca’s premier golfing destinations.
With world-class courses, star athletes, and a worthy mission, Battle of Stars 2025 is set to be another standout moment in Mallorca’s sports scene.
