The Apex Cup Golf Tournament 2026 concluded at Army Golf Club, Dhaka Cantonment.
The prize-giving and closing ceremony was graced by General Waker-Uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, psc, Honorable Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army, as the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by Lieutenant General Khan Firoz Ahmed, OSP, ndc, afwc, psc, President of Army Golf Club, along with a number of senior officers, corporate leaders, and members of the Army Golf Club Executive Committee.
The four days’ tournament featured competitive categories including Regular, Veteran, Senior, Ladies, Junior, and amateur golfers. A total of 813 golfers took part across the categories.
Colonel Imtiaz Mahmud emerged as the Overall Champion of the Apex Cup Golf Tournament 2026. Colonel Mohammad Mohiuddin (Retd.) claimed the title in the Veteran category, while Brigadier General Abdullah-Al-Azhar secured the Senior category honors. In the Ladies category, Mrs. Sarmin Jahangir took the top position, and Master Syed Mahdi Mahbeer won the Junior category.
Speaking at the ceremony, senior officials commended the standard of play, organizational excellence, and the spirit of sportsmanship displayed throughout the tournament. The Apex Cup Golf Tournament 2026 once again demonstrated Army Golf Club’s commitment to promoting golf as a disciplined, family-friendly, and competitive sport in Bangladesh.
