The 8th Daffodil Captain’s Cup Golf Tournament 2025 sponsored by Daffodil Group was wraped up at the Kurmitola Golf Club on 24th October, Friday.
Around 650 golfers, including local and foreign members of Kurmitola Golf Club and other golf clubs across the country participated in the three-day-long tournament.
General Waker-Uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, psc, Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army, and President of Kurmitola Golf Club, attended the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest and distributed prizes among the winners.
The ceremony was also attended by Lieutenant General Mohammad Shaheenul Haque, Commandant of the National Defence College and Vice President of Kurmitola Golf Club, and Dr. Md Sabur Khan, Chairman of Daffodil Group, along with senior officials, members, participants, and their spouses.
In the competition, Colonel Muhammed Nasir Uddin emerged as the Winner, while Colonel Mohummad Shariful Islam finished as Runner-up. Mrs. Jin Sook Yoon claimed the title of Ladies Winner.
After the prize distribution ceremony, the Chief Guest delivered his closing speech and expressed that such tournaments would play a significant role in the development of golf in the country and extended his appreciation to all those involved in organizing the tournament.
