The 2nd CA Bangladesh Cup Golf Tournament 2026 was successfully concluded at Jolshiri Golf Club (JGC) Dhaka on Saturday, 7 February, bringing together Chartered Accountants and golf enthusiasts from across Bangladesh for a day of competitive and collegiate golf.
The tournament was initiated by CA Golfers and organized by Corporate Tour, reaffirming their shared commitment to promoting golf as a platform for professional engagement and leadership networking.
A total of eighty-eight golfers took part in the tournament, played under a double shotgun start format, creating a dynamic and well-paced competitive environment throughout the day.
CA Bangladesh served as the title sponsor of the event, while Accfintax, City Bank PLC, and Summit Communications Limited supported the tournament as platinum sponsors. Additional sponsorship came from Amann Bangladesh Limited, Sonargaon Steel Limited, and Amin Mohammad Agro Limited.
The 2nd CA Bangladesh Cup Golf Tournament 2026 was graced by a distinguished gathering of leaders from the accounting, corporate, and golfing communities. NKA Mobin FCA, current President of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), a senior golfer of the CA Golfers community, attended the event as Chief Guest. He was joined by A. F. Nesaruddin FCA, past President of ICAB and a senior member of the CA Golfers community, and Md. Rokonuzzaman FCA, the current Vice President of ICAB. Air Commodore (Retd.) Abu Bakar FCA, was also present, adding further distinction to the occasion.
The tournament was convened by Md. Tahsin H Chowdhury ACA, with Sourav S Saha ACA serving as Co-Convener. City Bank continued its strong association with the event as Platinum Sponsor for the second consecutive year, with Md Mahbubur Rahman, Additional Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, attending both the tournament and the closing ceremony.
Ahmed Humayun Murshed founder of Accfintax, Major General (Retd.) Monirul Islam Akhand, , ndc, psc, PhD from the Summit Group joined the tournament.
Among other sponsors, Aminul Haque Nabil, Managing Director of Amin Mohammad Lands Development Limited and Sonargaon Steel, was present, underscoring the strong corporate engagement that continues to elevate the CA Bangladesh Cup as a flagship event in the corporate golf calendar.
On the course, Md Mohiuddin emerged as the winner after recording a gross score of forty-two. Playing off an effective handicap of nine, he returned a net score of thirty-three, finishing three under par to set the competitive benchmark of the 2nd CA Bangladesh Cup Golf Tournament 2026.
