The picturesque Bhatiary Golf and Country Club in Chittagong hosted the Early Bird — Keen Golfers Golf Tournament in the first week of January. A total of 225 players including 13 female golfers, 15 junior golfers and seven senior golfers took part in the day-long event, which was organised jointly by the Early Bird Golfers and Keen Golfers clubs.

Club president Major General SM Matiur Rahman witnessed the event as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners. Lieutenant Colonel Golam Mortuza won the chief title while Mrs. Hafiza Emad won the ladies’ title. Samara Sawad won the juniors’ title.
